The 50th
In 2024 I chaired the 50th Academy of International Business UK & Ireland Chapter Conference at Aston Business School: 258 delegates from more than thirty countries, on international business in evolution.
The conference produced an edited volume in the Academy of International Business series with Palgrave Macmillan, and a panel on the present and future of international entrepreneurship with Gary Knight, Antonella Zucchella, Niina Nummela and Olli Kuivalainen.

Member of the Conference Ambassador Network, Meet Birmingham, West Midlands Growth Company.
The network champions the West Midlands as a destination for international academic and professional events, and supports members bidding to bring conferences to the region. Hosting the 50th AIB-UKI at Aston was one such bid; the work of convening a field and the work of bringing it to a particular place are the same work.
